About My Practice
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in counselling from the University of Edinburgh. Trained in both psychodynamic and person-centred modalities, I offer an empathic, non-judgemental therapeutic space attuned to each unique client.
We can work together to better understand the issues you are struggling with. I am experienced in working with depression, stress, anxiety, relationship conflict, family dynamics, and bereavement. Sometimes it is difficult to articulate what is wrong—there is just a feeling the something is amiss.
The right interpersonal fit between counsellor and client is vital. When you contact me, I will arrange a free 15-minute telephone call when we can get a feel for the potential to work together.
I am a Counsellor Member of COSCA -- the counselling regulatory body for Scotland. I adhere to their ethical code and complaints procedure. I comply with COSCA's requirements to complete continuing professional development, and to engage with regular confidential supervision of my work.
My fee is £60 per 50-minute session. My private therapy room is conveniently located in the heart of the West End of Edinburgh. Currently, I can offer day-time appointments on Friday or Wednesday to individual adult clients. I look forward to hearing from you. Please complete the Contact Me form and I will respond.
